Offering up
Half awake, half weeping
But do these prayers even rise above this room
I know You are an awesome God
With so many prayers to answer
But I wish You could hear just one

Don't be up in heaven
So far away from me now
Be here beside me

I neglected in the past to call

Of the hurting child I am
